DMCA Policy & Designated Agent
Last updated: May 11, 2026
OnlyEngage (operated by Canela Code LLC) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our services to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at copyright.gov, OnlyEngage will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the OnlyEngage service.
Designated Copyright Agent
OnlyEngage's Designated Copyright Agent for notice of claims of copyright infringement is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office and may be contacted as follows:
- Service Provider
- Canela Code LLC (d/b/a OnlyEngage)
- Designated Agent
- Johnathan Rodriguez
- Mailing Address
- 117 Pepin St
West Warwick, RI 02893
United States - dmca@onlyengage.com
Email is the fastest channel for submitting a notice. Postal notices are accepted but processed less quickly. The Copyright Office directory entry (registration DMCA-1072600) lists admin@canelacode.com as the agent address; both addresses forward to the same agent and either may be used.
Filing a Copyright Infringement Notice
If you are a copyright owner or authorized representative and believe content on OnlyEngage infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our Designated Agent that includes all of the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or a person authorized to act on their behalf).
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of such works).
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, including information reasonably sufficient to permit OnlyEngage to locate the material — please include the full URL on onlyengage.com.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit OnlyEngage to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed (or access to it was disabled) by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our Designated Agent that includes the following, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3):
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, the Federal District Court for the District of Rhode Island, where Canela Code LLC is located), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, OnlyEngage will forward it to the original complaining party. If the complainant does not notify us within 10 business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order against the user, we may restore the removed material.
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, OnlyEngage has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. OnlyEngage may also at its sole discretion limit access to the service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
False Claims
Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, incurred by the alleged infringer, by any copyright owner or owner's authorized licensee, or by OnlyEngage.
